3.05.06 MoHS Alumni (C/O 89) Greg Leasure
"Dear Coach Kawachi,
My Name is Greg Leasure and I am an Alumni of MoHS, Class of 1989!!! I just happen to stumble onto the MoHS site and thought I'd have a look around. I found the link that had Alumni playing sports, kind of a "where are they now". Although I didn't play high school sports while I was there, I was always busy traveling to the mainland on the weekends, racing my BMX bike. I made it to my life long dream of racing as a professional in 1996 and raced at that level until 1998. Even today I compete regularly on the national curcuit as an amatuer and I am currently ranked #1 and #2 in different categories. I've stayed active in my sport and had a chance to create my own nationally selling magazine, BMX WORLD MAGAZINE!!
So I understand the importance of getting involved in sports at a young age, especially in high school, even if it's not your average sport.
Keep up the good work at Moanalua!!!"
