Runner up was the team of Mike Kawate/Roy Nishimoto at 11-under par 131 (67-64) and rounding out the top three, 3 teams tied at 7-under par 135 respectively; Bryan Edwards/Shawn Tanoue (68-67), Ren Frias/Paul Kimura (67-68) and Sam Rodriguez, III/Taylor Shimomura (67-68). This time of year around the USA hundreds of the top high school football players are invited
by Nike to participate in their football clinics/combine at selected sites across America.
This year 2 of Moanalua's top players were invited and attended the most competitive combine
on the west coast at the University of Southern California on April 17, 2005. Quinton Tang a
Jr. who is the conference Defensive Player of the Year and first team all conference linebacker
joined Stanford Leti, first team all conference running back at USC. They both did an outstanding
job and were tagged 2 of the top players out of 500 who attended. To see photos, highlights and

[ here]The first picture is of Andrew LEster and Kalen Darling in their Start of the 500 yard Freestyle in the finals on Saturday(Andrew is on the left, Kaen has the cap on). Second picture is Andrew with his first for the 200 freestyle. Overall the boys got 5th place. Andrew earned 1st place in both the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Freestyle and Kalen scored 6th in the 200 freestyle and 3rd in the 500 Freestyle.
